Understanding generalist practice (8th ed.). I also try to remove the frustrations clients have during assessment when the same questions are asked in different ways. Some of the questions in the assessment tools are repetitive. Some clients get frustrated and are not willing to cooperate during the assessment. To curb this problem, I group similar questions together, and if the client gives an answer to one of the questions, the same answer will be applied to similar questions; rather than asking the question all over again. This has helped to improve assessment and clients’ participation.
